Emma Brook - College Development Manager
Emma oversees the running of the section and organises the strategic management of training courses for the Falkland Islands. She seeks to broker training partnerships with the public and private sectors, to enhance the training opportunities available to people in the Falkland Islands. If you would like to find out more about the courses offered, or would like to offer a course then please contact her. Emma is the lead tutor for the level 3 and level 4 Education & Training courses as well as First Aid Courses.
Maggie Battersby - Quality Assurance Coordinator
Maggie ensures that all the courses offered by the Training Centre meet the standards expected of the awarding bodies. Maggie is the lead tutor in Business administration, Child Care and Customer services. She also is the deputy to the College Development Manager.
Martyn Barlow -Apprenticeship Co-ordinator
Martyn runs the apprenticeship programme, liaising with employers to find suitable work placements as well as colleges to enrich the training programme offered by the Centre. If you are thinking about becoming an apprentice, or would like to offer an apprenticeship, please contact Martyn. Martyn is also the lead tutor for the 17th Edition and PAT testing courses.
Rex Eagle - Vocational Co-Ordinator
Rex looks after people in the community who needs additional support, and develops vocational programmes to enable them to achieve their potential within the community. Rex is also currently co-ordinationg the Employment programme. Rex also oversees the a prison education programme and offers training to people on the enablement programme.
Alison Ford - Career Development Officer
Ali is delivering careers lessons to pupils at IJS and FICS... Ali is working closely with KS3 pupils, meeting with them to give advice and make sure they are thinking about their futures be it in further education or within the work place. Ali is available to give careers advice to anybody in the islands.
